On Tuesday 24th March, Sustainable Merton’s Ruth, Steve, Bob, Michelle, Fiona and Tom had a great time helping the staff, parents and children of Cricket Green School to brighten up the school grounds.
New flower borders were dug and planted, a huge planting pot was filled with soil and compost ready for planting, and a new garden shed was constructed too.
The work was also helped along by volunteers from HSBC bank and all of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch prepared by Michelle, Fiona and the kids.
