Sustainable Merton was very proud to work beside, and support, the dozens of residents, councillors, council officers, community groups and businesses who joined forces for Merton’s Big Tidy Up, as part of the national Great British Spring Clean campaign!
Community clean-ups took place in Morden, Mitcham, South Wimbledon and St Helier, with all volunteers showing true community spirit and determination to take a stand against littering in the borough. What a fantastic effort by all involved – Thank you!
It was a particular pleasure to work with so many young people from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association and we look forward to future events in the coming months.
