Exciting news! We’re delighted to announce the addition of a brand-new outdoor shelter at Mitcham Community Orchard and Gardens, made possible by the generosity of GreenLight—a Wimbledon-based business dedicated to engineering a greener future. This fantastic new structure will serve as a versatile space for workshops, events and volunteer sessions for the Merton community.
The design, materials and construction of the shelter were all donated by GreenLight and we are very grateful for their support. Collaborating with their team to deliver this project has been a pleasure and we extend our thanks to them for their invaluable contribution to our work.
This new shelter is a major milestone in our efforts to transform Mitcham Community Orchard and Gardens into an inclusive and thriving green space—one that not only enhances the well-being of local residents but also serves as an educational hub for sustainable gardening and growing practices.
